a potionmaker of ul'dah, so he claims. despite his reputation of being a large help - if a bit cold and occasionally snarky - he isn't easy to trust at first glance with most of his face obscured. even those who have done so do not know much of him; even what he is is shrouded in mystery. his origin is half something he'd prefer to keep a mystery, and half something he himself does not know.in truth, he is not of the world he resides in. forbidden magic is forbidden for a reason, even to those who have the best intent. as the warrior of light in disguise of his own world, his own experiments would have him tumbling into different one - and that world, in attempt to fix this error, stripped him of most of his memories and blessing, leaving him with naught but a weaker version of his gift.still, he presses on, knowing he's missing something but never being able to figure out what it is. he's dedicated to the study of magic and general aetherology in the hopes of one day discovering more about what has so clearly been locked away from him, and does not mind extending his knowledge or skills to those who need it along the way.

physically, he possesses two forms. that of a 5'4'', pointed ear hyur, and one of a 6'10'' man appearing to be something more similar to an elezen, with a face that resembles more of a scaleless au ra. he prefers to be in his first form, only using the second when he absolutely must during battle. he has light markings on his face and darker markings on the tip of his ears. both of his eyes are purple, with seemingly no visible pupil. his left, covered eye, is lighter than the right. the mask he usually wears bears the design of a minimalistic black and white rose. his most jarring feature is the small jagged black horn that may poke out of his hair on the left side on occasion.having been the warrior of light at some point in his life, he is no stranger to battle. he prefers to take the role of a mage, but also possesses the skill of a dark knight as well as a rogue, though he is less experienced in the last than the others. his echo manifests in agility, occasional attack prediction, and being able to feel others emotions or share his own. he is not immediately quick to violence, but does not have a problem with taking a life.
